REBAR

Inspections include: size, layout, location, configuration and clearance. Locations include footings, slabs, foundations, caissons, stem walls, columns, panels, masonry, etc.

WATER PROOFING

ACS services include: confirmation and documentation of system components and materials. Inspecting and recording installation techniques and progress. Documenting and notification of potential installation problems and making recommendations for improvement, if required.

Documenting that installation is in accordance with applicable installation instructions.

FIREPROOFING

ACS provides field testing and inspection of spray-applied fireproofing.

REINFORCED MASONRY

Inspection includes inspecting cell conditions and placement activity of the Masonry Units. Also inspecting reinforcing steel size, quantity, spacing, clearance and placement. Witnessing of grouting activities during placement and laboratory testing of compressive strength of masonry prisms, grout prisms, and mortar cylinders. In addition, CMU blocks can be sampled and tested for moisture content, absorption, and compressive strength.

OTHER

Exterior insulation finishing system, EIFS, ACS provides inspections for this lightweight synthetic wall cladding that includes foam plastic insulation and thin synthetic coatings.

WELDING

ACS provides structural steel, shop, and field inspections such as bolt torque, visual weld, liquid penetration, magnetic particle, and ultrasonic inspection either with the use of our own personnel or that of our affiliates.
